Kmart Creates Special Savings for Hurricane Preparedness Days

                           Better Than Tax-Free

  WHAT:     Even though the annual tax-free days are not being offered this
            year, Kmart is offering even better deals on select items to
            help our customers prepare, such as Coleman coolers, DieHard
            batteries, tarps, and more, during Kmart's Hurricane
            Preparedness Days.

            In addition to savings on key items, Kmart also is handing out
            Hurricane Preparedness checklists and tips.

  WHEN:     Friday, May 30, through Sunday, June 8

  WHERE:    Local Kmart managers will be available for interviews, or
            b-roll/photos can be shot in store.
