Kmart Pharmacy Celebrates American Pharmacists' Month in October

Kmart pharmacy today announced it will celebrate American Pharmacists' Month in October by encouraging customers to "Know your Medicine, Know your Pharmacist" and visit one of Kmart's Pharmacist Appreciation events or flu shot clinics throughout the month of October.

Kmart has over 1000 pharmacy locations and employs over 4400 pharmacist and pharmacy technicians throughout the country. We have been continually recognized for our customer service and recently won the 2008 Outstanding Corporate Citizen Award hosted by Retailing Today Magazine for our work with the American Diabetes Association and their Step Out: Walk to Fight Diabetes Program.

Everyday Kmart pharmacists embody the company's vision through their commitment to improving the lives of our customers by providing quality services, products and solutions that earn our customer's trust and builds lifetime relationships. American Pharmacist Month provides an important reminder to all our customers of the pharmacists role in a customers' care.

Kmart pharmacy will also celebrate National Pharmacy Technician Day on Tuesday, October 21 by recognizing individual pharmacists and technicians who go above and beyond to meet our customers needs.
