Available on Black Friday and throughout the holidays, customers can feel good about the savings they find at Sears, while also helping to fulfill the wishes of U.S. military service men and women through a donation to the Sears' Heroes at Home Wish Registry. This fall, more than 30,000 active U.S. military members from around the world registered to participate in the Wish Registry and told Sears what they were wishing for this holiday season.

Now through Dec. 24, consumers can go in-store or online at Sears.com to donate to the Wish Registry. Upon making a donation, consumers can include a note to the families and wish them happy holidays. Donations made to the Wish Registry are not tax deductible and will be used to purchase Sears Gift Cards that will be equally distributed to all registered families, up to a maximum gift card amount of $550 per family. In the event that all registered families receive the maximum amount, all remaining sums will be donated to the United Services Organization (USO).

Extended business hours at Sears nationwide start on Black Friday (Nov. 28) through Christmas Eve (Dec. 24).

All transactions from 11/16/08 through 12/23/08 will allow returns up to 120 days* from the day the sale is processed. All divisions will have the 120 day return privilege except the following lines of merchandise that will have 90 days from the day the sale is processed; Electronics, software (including CD's, DVD's, Games), Mattress/Foundations(Division 3, 57, 58 [line 00,10, 15, 20, 22, 25, 30].
