Sears Offers Facebook Fans an Opportunity to Shop Black Friday Deals Early

Enter Black Friday VIP Sweepstakes for a chance to win a $500 Sears gift card and access to Black Friday deals the day before Thanksgiving

For many shoppers, Black Friday means waking up before the sun rises to stand in line to get the best deals on holiday gifts. But this year, Sears is offering 25 lucky shoppers the chance to avoid the alarm clock and the crowds and win an opportunity to shop the retailer's Black Friday deals - the day before Thanksgiving - as part of Sears' Black Friday VIP Sweepstakes.

"Shopping for the best values on Black Friday is an exciting tradition for many of our customers and their families," said Don Hamblen, Sears' chief marketing officer. "The Sears Black Friday VIP Sweepstakes is a great way for Facebook® fans and Sears customers to get a head start on their Black Friday shopping, whether it's home electronics or toys, Sears has gifts for anyone's wish list."

Now through Nov. 19, consumers can visit the Sears Facebook Page (www.facebook.com/sears) and register for the Black Friday VIP Sweepstakes and the opportunity to win a Sears $500 gift card. Registrants will then automatically be entered into a secondary drawing for an additional $500 gift card and a VIP preview shopping experience in 25 participating markets*.

Secondary drawing winners will be invited to their local Sears store on Wednesday, Nov. 25 for a VIP preview shopping experience led by the store manager. In addition to a $500 Sears gift card, they will have access to all the great deals that won't be available to the general public until Black Friday on Nov. 27.
