Sears 1st Avenue Store to Reopen This Saturday

The Sears 1st avenue store at the Starbuck Center will reopen this Saturday, March 24, at 9 a.m. after being closed for three weeks to repair damage caused by the Seattle earthquake. To mark the reopening of the store, Sears is offering zero percent financing on all purchases of $100 or more made now through the end of April. Customers will not have to pay a finance charge until November 2001.

"The entire Sears team has done a great job repairing the store and getting it back on track to reopen as quickly as possible to serve our Seattle customers," said store manager Janis Williams. "Understanding first-hand the impact of this unexpected event, we are grateful to the Seattle community for its support during the last few weeks."

Customers are invited to use the south entrance through the children's department and the east entrance through the women's apparel department. The store will operate under regular business hours.
