Kmart Helps Puerto Rico Recover from Torrential Rains

Kmart has allocated $10,000 to the American Red Cross in Puerto Rico to help provide immediate assistance to residents in Yauco, and the surrounding areas following the torrential rains which fell earlier this week.

Kmart is a member of the American Red Cross' Disaster Relief Fund, which enables the Red Cross to take immediate recovery steps at the time of a disaster. Kmart's release of $10,000 from its Disaster Relief Fund enables American Red Cross volunteers to help areas of Puerto Rico impacted by the rains.

"Because our charitable partners are uniquely equipped to provide immediate aid when tragedy strikes, contributing to their efforts allows us to help as many people as possible."
