Sisters in the Spirit Tour, Gospel Artists Yolanda Adams, Mary Mary, Shirley Caesar and Virtue to Visit Kmart SuperCenter in Detroit, Oct. 10
WHO: Yolanda Adams currently has three albums on the Billboard Gospel Albums Chart, including the Grammy-award winning, gold-certified "Mountain High ... Valley Low" and her latest, "The Experience," which was recorded during last year's Sisters in the Spirit tour.
Mary Mary the singer, songwriting duo has recorded with Yolanda Adams, Jade, and Apollo 440, as well as making an appearance with Robin S on the "Doctor Doolittle" soundtrack. Their debut album, titled "Thankful," produced the single, "Shackles," which made its way up both the Gospel and Rhythm and Blues charts.
Shirley Caesar is celebrating the imminent release of her latest album "Hymns," scheduled to hit stores this month. She has won numerous Grammy and Stellar awards and has been featured on the soundtracks of numerous films including "The Preacher's Wife" and "Why Do Fools Fall In Love."
Virtue is riding high on the release of their third project, "Virtuosity," which features the hit single "He's Been Good." Their second project, "Get Ready," continued their early success and "Virtue," won two of the prestigious Dove Awards. Virtue has also appeared on an album recorded in tribute to Rosa Parks, the Civil Rights heroine of the 1950s.
