Sears at Landover Mall Open
Broadline Merchandiser Continues Operations as Mall's Retailer
The Sears, Roebuck and Co. (NYSE: S) store at Landover Mall remains open for business as the only retailer in the mall located at Brightseat Road and Route 202.
The store, which first opened its doors in 1972, today offers a full range of merchandise and services including its latest addition, Tool Territory. Sears' innovative new tool department offers Craftsman and 72 other tool brands -- including Stanley, DeWalt, Makita, Delta, Fluke and Estwing -- 18,000 tools in all.
"We want to assure our customers that we are open for business," said Keith Kiah, store general manager. "Through the years we've become the store of choice for home and family. We plan to continue serving this community."
Landover Sears continues to feature:
-- Apparel, including national brands and Sears' own clothing lines:
Crossroads, Canyon River Blues, Apostrophe, Fieldmaster and, for kids,
TKS;
-- Home fashions, with cookware, and coordinated bed and bath furnishings;
-- Appliances, including Kenmore and all five of the other leading
appliance brands;
-- Electronics, with brand-name TVs, stereos, camcorders and digital
cameras;
-- Sears Portrait Studio and Optical Shop, and H&R Block (during tax
season); and
-- A detached Sears Auto Center, with the "DieHard Express" battery
installation lane.
