Sears Has Great Deals on Great Gifts for Holiday Season

Fifty Percent Off Sales Start at 6 a.m. on Friday, November 29

With gifts that meet more of the needs of today's home and family than any other retailer, Sears kicks off the holiday season with great deals that are sure to be on everyone's list this year. And Sears' stores will have extended hours until 11 p.m. and early openings on selected days to help shoppers who have six less shopping days this holiday season.

The savings start this Friday at 6 a.m. at Sears stores with 50 percent savings until 11 a.m. on selected coats, clothes, shoes, jewelry, tools and electronics. Other discounts and zero percent financing on major television, appliance, fitness and camcorder purchases give shoppers more ways to save this year.

  Early morning specials on Friday include:

  -- 50 percent off all outerwear* - children's, ladies and men's
     (*excluding Lands' End)
  -- 50 percent off Covington men's brushed fleece tops
  -- 50 percent off selected Dockers, Wolverine, Apostrophe, Reebok and New
     Balance shoes
  -- 50 percent off wide selection of Craftsman tool and tool sets

Hundreds of items are on sale throughout the day, with special savings on electronics, game tables, fitness equipment and gas grills. And there are great gifts under $10.00. A CD boom box is final priced at $9.99, as is a 30- pack of CD-R discs. A George Foreman Champ grill with timer, a Sears exclusive, is on sale for only $14.99.

  All day specials on Friday are:

  -- 40-50 percent off, plus an extra 15 percent on all fine jewelry
  -- Plus zero percent financing until January 2004 on all televisions over
     $499, appliances over $399 and camcorders over $299

  More Savings on Saturday

Savings continue on Saturday with an extra 10 percent off nearly everything at your local Sears store from 7 a.m. until noon. Shoppers who spend more than $25 on Saturday, get a $5 off coupon good for any purchase of $20 or more from December 1 - 6. Throughout the day, shoppers can save 50 percent off all holiday decor -- for the tree, for the table and for the home. On Saturday only, Sears has zero percent financing on all appliances over $399 until May 2003 for shoppers who use their Sears Card.

Sunday Starts a New Week of Savings

Sears has a new round of savings starting the week of December 1, with several "all on sale" specials. All Covington and Apostrophe clothes for women are on sale, as are all sweaters, sportshirts, jeans, casual pants, dress shirts, dress slacks and ties for men. Other "all on sale" categories include holiday home decor, bedding fashions, small kitchen appliances, cookware, bakeware and cutlery. And don't forget the fun! All pool tables and game tables are also on sale. There are also special offers, like men's merino wool sweaters and misses' angora cardigans for only $19.99 each. Some exclusions apply. Shoppers Can Build Customized Shopping Lists Online

In addition to Sears' traditional newspaper advertisements, shoppers can view all the special offers at their local Sears store through sears.com by entering their zip code to access weekly store advertisements. The offers can be viewed by category, so shoppers can zero in on the items they're looking for. Shoppers can even search offers by more than 50 brands, including Dockers, Mudd, Levi, Lee, Craftsman, Healthtex, Sony or Reebok. And there's no need for pencils or pens. They can create their own personalized shopping list from this site and print it out directly from their computer.
