Inefficient central air conditioners and HVAC systems present the largest opportunity for energy savings of any system in the home. Now is the perfect time to replace an old window air conditioner, central air unit or refrigerator with an Energy Star qualified model from Sears, which carries more Energy Star qualified heating and cooling systems from Kenmore® and Carrier® than any other retailer.

Keeping your existing unit running at peak energy efficiency can also pay big dividends. For example, maintaining proper humidity levels, either by adjusting the humidifier on the unit or adding one to an older unit, can keep you and your family comfortable at higher temperature settings. Sears can help in either situation with a maintenance check or repair by one of its 10,000 professional repair specialists.

AIR CONDITIONER, REFRIGERATION PROMOTIONAL OFFERS AT SEARS
-- Consumers in the market for a new window air conditioner, dehumidifier
or refrigerator can get 0% financing until June 2004(1) on all home
appliances (over $399), including window air conditioners and
dehumidifiers and free delivery(2) with mail-in rebate.
-- For consumers who choose to replace, rather than repair their
appliance, Sears Product Repair Services is offering $65 off a
replacement appliance of $299 or more(3).
-- Sears is the only retailer that sells Kenmore® and Carrier® Energy
Star central air conditioning units. Homeowners can receive 0%
financing until April 2004 when purchasing a new Carrier or Kenmore
high-efficiency Energy Star central cooling system.(4)
-- During the Sears "Refrigeration Spectacular", July 6 through 12,
shoppers can receive 0% financing until July 2004 and free delivery
with mail-in rebate on all refrigerators $399 and over.
-- Selected refrigerators are on sale July 13 through 18 (excludes close-
outs), and consumers can receive up to $150 cash back on select Kenmore
side-by-side refrigerators with mail-in rebate.(5)
