Day-After Thanksgiving Pricing Available Early at Sears.com
Online Options Make Finding Values Easy
Sears.com customers will get early access to great day-after Thanksgiving values on Thanksgiving Day. This advantage lets customers shop for "all day sale" priced items from home on Thursday with the option to pick up purchases in Sears stores or have them delivered after the holiday.
With more than half of this year's holiday shoppers using the Web to research gift ideas and make purchases online, Sears wants its customers to take full advantage of the holiday sales offered online this Thanksgiving -- a full day before Sears stores will offer traditional "all day sale" pricing.
"Sears recognizes how critical the Web has become in holiday shopping and how much our customers value great gifts at great prices," said Bill Bass, vice president and general manager of Sears Customer Direct. "We are doing everything we can to lead in the delivery of convenience and quality to our online customers."
Sears' offerings to online customers this holiday season include: -- Early email announcement on Tuesday, November 23 alerting customers to values offered online on Thanksgiving Day -- The option to buy products online and pick them up in store -- Free shipping on most items under 70 lbs. purchased before December 21, 2004 -- A new holiday gift center to guide consumers in selecting gifts by price, popularity and gender -- Popular gifts including the Apple iPod by HP- 20GB MP3 player only available on Sears.com, Halo 2 for XBOX, and the 4-in-1 Laser Level and Laser-guided Measuring Tool Combo Kit featuring Laser Trac -- Searsenespanol.com where customers can find assistance and shopping tools in Spanish
This holiday, Sears' customers have more choices than ever for getting the best gifts for everyone on their lists. "The options provided by our multiple channels will help Sears customers get their shopping done conveniently and at great prices," Bass said.
