Kmart Kicks Off Holiday Season With Extended Hours of Operation and Executives Assisting In-Stores
Kmart Holding Corporation (NASDAQ: KMRT) is helping shoppers get an early start this year with extended hours of operation on Thanksgiving Day from 7 a.m. until 9 p.m.
Additionally, on Friday, November 26, Company executives and management personnel will be working in stores throughout the metro Detroit area. Executives traveling outside of the Detroit-area for the holiday weekend will visit Kmart stores in their respective communities. Executives will assist customers and associates by bagging merchandise, acting as greeters, retrieving carts and restocking shelves.
"Being in-store during an extremely busy shopping day is the best way to help our customers and associates during the holiday season," said Aylwin Lewis, Kmart President and CEO. "What better place to experience the excitement of the holiday season than to directly serve our customers."
Customers can also shop during extended hours Friday, November 26, from 6 a.m. until 11 p.m. and on Saturday, November 27, from 7 a.m. until 11 p.m.
