The Sears "Turf Wars" marketing campaign has won the top honor in the Retail Category at the 2012 North America Effie Awards, a Silver Effie.
The Effie Awards are given yearly by Effie Worldwide, Inc., a non-profit organization designed to provide information regarding effectiveness and results in marketing communications. The Effie Awards recognize any and all forms of marketing that contribute to a brand’s success and they are known by advertisers and agencies globally as the preeminent award in the industry.
Sears "Turf Wars" was launched in 2011 for Sears' Lawn & Garden business. The campaign focused on Sears' key brand, Craftsman, and showed that Sears was willing to fight for the right to be on our customers' lawns by bringing customers exclusive innovations, trusted services and enhanced online shopping tools at competitive prices. Our brands and integrated services continue to be two of our strongest assets as we show our customers why Sears is the best place to shop for their Lawn & Garden products
