New OSH Store to Open Saturday in Citrus Heights

A new Orchard Supply Hardware (OSH) store officially opens in Citrus Heights, Calif. on Sat., May 21, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony that begins at 7:45 a.m.

The 51,460-sq.-ft. OSH store at 6124 San Juan Avenue in Citrus Heights employs 70 associates, according to Ron Sharp, OSH store manager.

"We're opening this fantastic, new OSH store to offer Citrus Heights shoppers the outstanding customer service and superior home improvement and garden product selection that has made OSH a California legend since 1931," said Rob Lynch, President and General Manager of OSH. "When our customer needs help maintaining or improving their homes, their first thought should be Step 1: OSH."

OSH offers more than 40,000 home-repair items, ranging from power tools and paint, to plumbing and electrical products, to nursery and lawn and garden items. From housewares, nuts, bolts and screws; patio furniture; outdoor pool needs. The new Citrus Heights store also features over 3,000 major appliances from G.E., Kenmore and Whirlpool. And in addition to exclusive brands such as Craftsman, Kenmore, and DieHard, OSH also sells national brands such as Skil, Makita, Ryobi, DeWalt, Toro, Stanley, Black & Decker, Rubbermaid and much more.

To celebrate the Grand Opening, the Citrus Heights store is giving away three-gallon OSH buckets to the first 1,000 customers on Sat., May 21 and to the first 1,000 shoppers on Sun., May 22. Additionally, the new OSH store will feature a "No Sales Tax" event for all major home appliances throughout the weekend. Customers can also register for a chance to win a variety of exciting prizes like a year supply of Coke products ($200 value); Do-Able 8 Pc. Community and vendor demonstrations by the Citrus Heights Police & Fire Department, Quikrete, Sun-Land Gardens, Char-Broil & Litex.
